27 million dead — a number that is hard to comprehend. The historical memory of June 22 is not just a parade and fireworks. It's a mourning for the peaceful civilians killed in the first days. By 2026, the last veterans have passed away. Now, memory lives in archives, diaries, letters from the front. It's important not to turn history into a comic about "super soldiers."

How Memory is Preserved Today
